    DISPOSABLE FIREWOOD SALE PACKAGE, SALE PACKAGING
    The invention relates to a disposable firewood sales package comprising firewood, a base and bottom-fitting edges for supporting firewood, and a sale of locking and gripping means for locking the base and edges of the firewood. The invention also relates to a sales packaging blank and a transport system for disposable firewood sales packaging. The sale of firewood to consumers can be roughly divided into two separate groups, the first being the sale of firewood in larger batches for heating purposes in residential buildings and saunas, and the second is the sale of firewood in sales packages. The sales package contains the required dose of firewood, which is usually burned once or during two heating sessions. Sales packages are sold, for example, by department stores and service stations. The general sales package consists of, for example, a plastic wrap wrapped around the trees, a cardboard box or a packaging net.     The object of the invention is to provide a more ecological, simpler and aesthetically superior disposable firewood sales package and a sales packaging blank for forming a sales package, which can be used to prevent or reduce the release of debris from firewood into the environment. The characteristic features of the present invention appear from the appended claims 1 and 4. It is also an object of the invention to provide a more ecological, simpler and aesthetically superior transport system for transporting disposable firewood sales packages than prior art transport systems. The characteristic features of the present invention appear from the appended claim 5.
    The object of the invention can be achieved with a disposable firewood sales package comprising firewood, a base and bottom-fitting edges formed of at least one simple wood veneer to support the firewood, and locking and gripping means for locking the base and edges around the firewood into a closed circuit and carrying the sales package.
    Formed from wood veneer, the sales package according to the invention is o very natural and simple. Preferably, the locking and gripping means are a rope made of natural fiber, which is adapted to be releasably tied around the wood veneer and the surrounding firewood in the transverse direction of the firewood, allowing the sales package to be lifted from the rope. Thus, the entire sales package is a natural product that can be disposed of with firewood by burning. When using a natural fiber cord, the sales package is also easy to open and does not necessarily require a knife or scissors to open it, as is the case with prior art packages. Preferably, the strings are in two pieces and are tied together to form a loop or handle for lifting the sales package. When two cords are used, the cords form support points at a distance from each other, whereby the cords support the wood veneer over a wide area, preventing the wood veneer and the trees in it from tilting and on the other hand the cords from slipping o under the wood veneer. The base and edges may be formed by a single wood veneer or by several wood veneers successively partially overlapping in the direction of the cords, forming a unitary base and edges to hold the debris inside the sales package.
    In the sales package according to the invention, the wood veneers are not glued to each other or cross-linked with respect to each other like a basket; but essentially single-layered and parallel.

The transport support is formed of at least one simple wooden veneer which is fitted on top of the sales packages, forming a lid and at least two sides for at least partially covering the sales packages. In other words, the wood veneer of the sales package and the sales packaging blank is a single-layer wood structure, i.e. it is also not bonded like a core basket or a similar structure using alternating wood veneers.

    The locking and gripping means 18 may be, for example, a plastic and adhesive load bandage or iron wire, a metal strap, a large cable tie or the like known from the prior art. Most preferably, however, the locking and gripping means 18 are formed of a natural fiber cord 22, as in Figures 1 to 3. The advantage of the natural fiber cord over the other locking and gripping means listed above is that the natural fiber cord can be tied and opened without the use of separate tools. for example, plastic O 25 load ties or iron wires, the opening of which requires a separate 2 tool.     The sales package is formed from the sales package blank by placing the locking and gripping means straight against the floor and placing a wooden veneer parallel to them, so that, for example, when two strings are used, the strings are at a suitable distance from each other and evenly spaced.
    A suitable distance can be meant, for example, that the distance of each string from the edge of the wood veneer is 10 cm and the distance between the strings is 15 cm.
    Firewood is then stacked on top of the wood veneer in the middle of the wood veneer with a length transverse to the strings.
    The free ends of the wood veneer are turned upwards to form the edges of the sales package and the strings under the wood veneer are tied over the sales package into a closed circuit, locking the wood veneer in its shape to surround the firewood.

    The solid sides and bottom collect debris from the firewood and partially prevent it from dripping from the sales package.
    The same applies to moisture if snow has adhered to the surface of the trees, for example.
    The width of the individual wood veneer used is preferably 1.5 to 2.0 times the final width of the firewood in the sales package.
    In this way, the wood veneer, when bent, also forms the edges of the sales package.
    Preferably, the length of the wood veneer in the longitudinal direction of the firewood is equal to or slightly greater than the length of the firewood.
    In this case, the debris dripping from the firewood comes to the bottom formed by the wood veneer.
    The length of the wood veneer may be 20 to 40 cm, preferably 25 to 35 cm depending on the length of the firewood, and the width in turn 50 to 80 cm.
    The dimensions (length, width, height) of the finished sales package can be, for example, 30 x 30 x 30 cm or 20 x 20 x 30 cm.
